Chacma Baboon
1995. The Chacma baboon is the only species of baboon found in Bostwana. They are large, strong and fierce fighters. Their only real natural enemy is the leopard though young cubs can be taken by lions and hunting dogs. Baboons spend most of their time on the ground searching for insects, spiders and bird eggs. At night they climb into trees to sleep. <small>Photo by Returned Peace Corps Volunteer Susan Ross.
