Bazaar in Bukhara. The 'silk road' served as the ancient trading route between China, India and Turkey and passes through Uzbekistan. The tradition of open bazaars is continued today and is often the only place to find goods such as clothing, food, tools and any other item imaginable. Bukhara is especially known for its rugs.
