A cross-cultural and language workshop was held in Mashad, Iran in March of 1971 for PCVs who had been in-country at least 6 months. Twenty-two camels, two donkeys and one horse were hired for an excursion to Neishabur, a Ghaznavid city destroyed by Jenghis Khan and Mongol hordes. Photo by Joel Hettger.
