Project Nexus, supported through an NSF grant, recently created DrawnToScience.org to make their data and qualitative methodology available to interested researchers and teachers. Drawings were used as one source of data to study the influence of an innovative science methods course coupled with an informal science education experience. Many of these drawings, along with a detailed explanation of the research methodology, are available on the project website.

Using drawings in action research is also supported on the site with examples, potential research topics, and other resources. For practicing teachers this section provides the necessary tools and explanation to conduct action research in education with drawings as a source of data using a tested methodology.
